Tone Signal is the gathering of four experienced Montreal musicians practiced in the art of spontaneous musical creations. The bands beliefs in music composition without boundaries gives them the freedom to which every artist aspires. Each member’s spiritual and musical foundation deeply affects the outcome and direction of their creations. The music can trace it’s roots to Funk, Soul, R&B, and Pop but is most importantly based on the primal art of listening and musical interplay. Following this principal, rest assured to never hear a Tone Signal song played the same way twice.
Tone Signal’s debut release, “Four and a half minutes of pure joy”, represents the band’s two year venture in searching, creating, and recording musical ideas. Varying from down tempo sexy grooves to full out funk jams, and topped by guest appearances from some of Montreal’s best players, this sonic journey is sure to delight an array of musical pallets.
