Tone Signal is a five piece band based in Montreal, fronted by the uniquely talented vocalist Dano Signal. Formed in 2007, they accidentally came together as a band mainly by writing and recording during casual free form studio sessions. In July 2009 they released their independent debut CD "Four And A Half Minutes Of Pure Joy", a collection of songs arranged and edited from their large bank of musical ideas. Produced by keyboardist Chris De Zordo and the band, their CD has received much praise from music enthusiasts around the globe. The music is groove oriented and has been compared to Freak Power, P-Funk and Sade ; a mixture of both smooth down tempo R & B songs and soulful funky jams arranged with a small brass section. All held together with original melodies and velvet vocals. The end result being easy listening authentic healing tones !

Tone Signal's live shows began in 2008 as they were invited to play their material at a private corporate event. The response was entirely positive and the spontaneous dancing has continued on throughout every show since. Their ability to tap into the crowd helps them create hypnotic hooks that build throughout the show. In doing so, they smoothly recreate recognizable songs from their CD into great live performances with some pieces becoming generous organic jams. Listeners have described Tone Signal's show as positively energetic, ear pleasing and sexy organized chaos.
